Welcome to Bookmiles! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("user," "you," or "your") and Bookmiles ("Bookmiles," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using the Bookmiles application ("the App") and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.
Bookmiles provides a platform for managing books through virtual Bookshelves and Bookmarks, allowing users to track, categorize, and organize their personal libraries and reading activities.
Bookmiles reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue features at its sole discretion, without prior notice. This ensures the app can:
When you add content to Bookmiles (e.g., book titles, reviews, notes), you retain ownership of that content. By using the App, you grant Bookmiles a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display your content solely for providing the service.

You'll be automatically billed from the date you convert to a Bookmiles Plus. Account and on each renewal period until cancellation. Please note that you'll be charged tax when we are required to do so, and you are responsible for all applicable taxes. Your Bookmiles Plus account will remain active until cancellation or termination under these Terms. Failing to pay for your Bookmiles Plus on time might result in a loss of access to features you have paid for. We may change the fees in effect at a future date, but we will send advanced notice of any changes to the email address associated with your Bookmiles account. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

Bookmiles is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for Bookmiles in the 12 months preceding the claim.
To utilize the Service, registration for an account is necessary. You can register either by using your Apple account, or by creating a distinct account for Bookmiles. During the registration process, you may need to furnish certain personal information such as your name, email address, or other contact details. A password will be requested upon registration, and it is your sole responsibility to safeguard the confidentiality of your account and password. You acknowledge accountability for all activities conducted under your account.
When you install our app on your mobile device, you may choose to receive push notifications, which are messages an app sends you on your mobile device when the app is not on. We may send you emails concerning our products and services, as well as those of third parties. You may opt out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in the promotional email itself.
As part of our services, we may share links to products, including books, through affiliate programs. When you make a purchase through these links, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. By using our app, you acknowledge and consent to this arrangement.
You may stop using Bookmiles at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data may be deleted, and your access to the App may be permanently revoked.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Korea, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of South Korea.
